I have only good things to say about Kappa. Everyone on the staff is wonderful - they are kind, fun, and above all good teachers! This is not my first language school experience, and I can safely say I've never had more fun or made more friends while learning a language. I only wish I had found them sooner!

I went to this school for three weeks every day and learned quite a lot. It's easily accessible with the metro B and the classes are very affordable. The staff and teachers are super friendly and will literally help you with anything. Just ask them and they will be glad to help you out. I really enjoyed learning italian there and if one day I return to Rome, I will definitely go there again.

I recommend Kappa highly! From the beginning, the staff was extremely helpful with enrolling and supporting me as I obtained my student visa. I studied at Kappa for around 8 months and I felt so much growth in my Italian throughout my time. The teachers (shoutout to Gloria!) are incredibly kind and attentive. The school puts on different cultural events and excursions monthly and is a nice place to form community. I encourage anyone who wants to study Italian in Rome, especially for an extended period of time, to come to Kappa.

I studied at Kappa School for 3 months.What initially attracted me to Kappa was its very affordable price. But after attending the first week, I started to love studying at Kappa.Unlike my previous experience, the lessons were well-paced and not stressful. The professor, Livio, has an amazing quality of listening attentively and patiently to whatever we say and gently correcting us when needed. Also, once we had achieved sufficient competence in one grammar form, we were gently ushered into the next grammatical module.Not only did I learn how to use the different forms of Italian grammar, I also learnt when and where to use it. We also spent a good amount of time listening to Italian conversations, and conversing in Italian ourselves. The class size is optimal, usually 3-5 students only in a single class, thus giving sufficient time for personal attention, and also maintaining the strict covid rules.I cannot forget the friendly and relaxing school environment which Livio cultivated among us, which enabled us to keep in touch even after our time at Kappa.In summary,1. Very affordably priced2. Professional teachers who have excellent skills3. Well-paced pedagogy, not aggressive4. Content involves grammar, listening and speaking Italian5. I was going to classes at Kappa for around four months and I really loved it. In the four months I was attending classes, the course got me from a point where I could only understand and was unable to speak anything in Italian, to the point where I was able to take the B1 PLIDA exam. One thing I particularly liked about the course is that the the classes are immersive. Although this meant that to start with it was a little difficult to understand what was going on, this forced me to speak in Italian and improved my language skills very quickly and within a week everything became much easier. The classes were always fun and the teachers are brilliant and enthusiastic. At the school there are always lots of events to get involved in. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to go out of their way to help you and I would thoroughly recommend it!!

I had a great time in the Kappa school and learned very much, not only about the italian language, but also about culture, music, Roma, food and Italy. School was never so much fun and at the same time I met many interesting people of different countries. I have been learning Italian at Kappa Language School since December 2016 with no prior knowledge of Italian and in a two month period I can say it became possible for me to construct basic sentences and understand people`s speech. The teachers are very friendly to us are using an individual approach to each student in a very detailed oriented manner.

Had a wonderful time at the school! The teachers were skilled and knew what they were doing, moreover they were friendly and would try to help you in any way and whenever they could.
The atmosphere in the classroom was always amazing and I never went (away) there with any bad feelings or the thought I did not learn anything that day.

I started as an absolute beginner and wanted to learn Italian during my au pair experience. The school was really good, inspiring and motivating, also easy to make friends. The teachers are really good and make studying fun! Because of Covid-19 I had to leave Italy early, but I still continued the lessons online and loved those! Highly recommend. 🥰

I am very satisfied with the month course I attended at the Kappa school, and for sure, when I decide to prolong my studying I will choose again this school. I highly recommend the Kappa Language School to everyone! I have been learning Italian at this school since Beginner level A1. First time I didn't know a single word of Italian. Now I can maintain a conversation in Italian, correspond to messages on whatsapp and understand people around me. I still need to learn a lot, and I am currently studying level B1. I hope to start speaking Italian fluently by the end of the year. I came to school in February of this year, and studied both in presence and online. I like both, since the school takes care of our convenience! I really like the teaching methods, very friendly teachers and professional staff! Here I not only learn the language, but also met a lot of good people and new friends!

Kappa is an excellent place to learn italian, italian culture and way of life. The teachers are young ,enthusiastic, challenging ,and fun. They offer a variey of courses from intensive to a more flexible option. The location is central enough and in a hip neighborhood. This is a great place to study Italian, and I highly recommend it! The teachers are all really fun, and they really care about your progress. You very quicky become friends with your classmates, and the teachers and spend your time with them outside of class at aperitifs where you can practice your Italian with local romans! Its a great learning environment!

Kappa is a fantastic language school run by a passionate group of young and energetic professors. The teachers are knowledgable, the classes are small, the location is central and the price is unbeatable. In addition to providing engaging classes Kappa also plans a wide variety of activities outside of the school that are actually fun, the kind of social events you actually want to go to rather than awkward language exchanges in dark Irish pubs. I really have zero complaints about Kappa and hope to return to Rome soon to continue my Italian language studies here. The professors feel like friends and my Italian has improved faster at Kappa than other larger schools due to the smaller class sizes. Don't bother with the larger well known schools, Kappa is where it's at.

This is a lovely school with caring and respectful teachers. The administration genuinely cares about the progress of their students. Being a foreign language teacher myself, I can be highly critical of course formats and the presentation of new language information. I have taken a number of classes with Kappa Language School and all of the teachers are knowledgeable, prepared, and educated. I completely recommend this school.

If you are serious about learning basic correct Italian, you need to try this school. They are a young motivated, knowledgeable, cheerful bunch who take their trade seriously and proudly.

Kappa is an amazing languages center in the heart of Rome. I had an amazing experience learning with them and completely recommend them. I went to Kappa Language School for more or less 9 months. Before coming here I couldn't manage to speak or communicate in Italian at all. I spoke like a baby in Italian.After 9 months of attending class everyday at Kappa I managed to reach a B1+ level and I'm now studying at a B2 level.I was able to take class with Francesca, Alessia and Enrico and they each have the ability to teach in a way that allows the students to grow and they challenge you to learn if you are willing that is.The curriculum is suitable for each level and each class we learn about everything from the history of Italy, to the art, food, music, film, geography, anything you can think of.Italian became a part of my every day life after attending Kappa and now I can speak and express myself more than I believed I ever could've imagined.If you choose Kappa, be prepared to learn to express yourself and even dream in Italian and learn from truly capable teachers.

I attended Kappa Language School for two months and the school really made my stay in Rome much more enjoyable.Before attending Alessia and Enrico were very helpful in organizing my trip to Rome and answered many questions that I had to their best.My teacher Stefano was very funny and a great teacher.He taught the lesson in Italian which is difficult to adjust to at first but the best method to learn the language and become fluent.They also organise a lot of activities and events for students. I took a one month beginners class here which ran Monday through Friday from 10 am - 12 pm during the month of September 2016. I was very pleased with what I learned during this one month course. The instructors were knowledgeable and professional. Not only did they provide the class with language instruction but they also shared with us information about places to eat and visit in Rome outside of the popular touristy spots. The instructors communicate in Italian and although they understood English, encouraged us to speak in Italian, even when asking questions, as much as possible.

Very friendly school, nice staff and helpful teachers. I really find the two hour a day in the morning schedule efficient. And there is coffee that cheers up my mornings. 🙂 The heating was the only thing not perfect, but upon request they took care of it. 🙂 By the way the location is also ideal.

I really love attending the lessons, the teachers are so nice, really passionate and very nice, I can say I have learnt so much during these two weeks. I couldn’t have wished for a better language school. I enjoyed and appreciated every single lesson. I liked that the school is very small, thus everything is very personal, individual. Everything I learned in a lesson I could immediately adapt to the everyday life. The lessons were incredibly vivid, always interesting and creative thanks to my wonderful teacher Matteo. Furthermore the school is very flexible and not expensive.

It was my first experience with Kappa Language School and I was in the beginners' group. The teachers was friendly, experienced and created a welcoming environment. Moreover, after language classes there were afternoon and evening activities. By the end of my course I could communicate in Italian... Highly recommended!

I attended Kappa language school for seven months and I enjoyed every single lesson. The staff is really lovely and they offered me several options of lessons, like flexible courses and private courses. Furthermore the fee is quite cheap compared to other schools in Rome. Apart from that I made a lot of new friendships there with people from all over the world and the staff is often organizing events outside of school like for example guided trips in particular districts of Rome, a dinner at the end of the year or cooking courses. My impression is that the teachers want to show the entire italian culture and way of life to their students, not only the language. That's what makes this school so special.

I really enjoyed my intensive Italian language course of B2 level that took place every day from middle of January 2019. I am very grateful for Gloria and all other teachers who I met during the course. Great language school in the heart of Rome. Passionate teachers and seems to attract really cool students of all ages. I tried two other more well known schools in rome and this beats them both in all aspects, - price, class size, neighborhood, the list goes on...

Kappa Language school is a fantastic place to learn Italian!! The teachers and staff in general are very nice and always ready to help. The groups are small and the price is right. The location is also a plus, in the very cool and historic Monti neighborhood.I had class with Martina and Giuliana; both very knowledgeable and great teachers in their own style. I highly recommend this school and personally can't wait to go back!

I totally recommend Kappa Language School! The teachers are very friendly and the atmosphere is great thus learning Italian is a real pleasure. There are many courses to choose from which take place at different times, therefore everyone should be able to find one to attend. In 9 months of learning, I’ve reached a high level of Italian and would always choose the school again.🍀☺️
